I am looking for a 1/2" MPT Tap
The largest tap I have for pipe thread is 1/4"
Does anyone know where I can get one?
if not, anyone close want to lend me one?

I may have one I'll look if not probably Northern tool.
You can get everything from 1/64" to 3" taps at Handy Hardware (http://www.handyacehardware.com/). I have 1/4", 1/2" and 3/4" that I bought from there.
Thanks guys! Northern is right down the street from me. If they don't have it, I'll order it from Handy. :)

The trick is the NPT threading....
Aquatic Ecosystems has them... lemme just whip out my trusty catalog (which is a MUST have)...
www.aquaticeco.com (http://www.aquaticeco.com). Part Number: BNT4
If you use the search on their web site it comes up as a 1/8" tap, but if you click on it it shows them all and you can select the 1/2.
