Hello - new to the area, but not to the hobby. Wonderful site.
I'm looking for hermits 3-5" in size for my invert/non-coral tank. Not the giant conch-size ones that you see in the museum aquariums, but bigger than the tiny dime-sized ones I've mostly see in the LFSs.
Stores I've been to so far:
-Aquarium Warehouse
-Aviarium (Bill is great!)... got some hermits there.
I'm near Atlantic Station in Atlanta. If any of the members/sponsors on here know of a place with a good selection of hermits right now, I'd really appreciate it!
Thanks. :)

If you look in alot of LFS stores cheap "blue legged" tanks you can often find red legged crabs. They grow pretty fast for me. I also have one grey crab that has just taken a 1.5 inch shell after about 8 months of growth. I haven't seen anything in the 3-5 range, but Premier on roswell road has bigger ones in their live rock tank, maybe they have some smaller big ones?

+1 to Premier Aquatics. I have gotten a few 2-3" white hermit crabs from them. They keep them in their coral tanks.

Thanks for the recommendations for Premier Aquatics. I went there yesterday, and they only had the tiny (dime sized) hermits at the moment.
FWIW, they don't have the giant ones in the live rock tanks any more. Said they were delivered by mistake and they finally sent them back (or something).
It looks like they're still getting the store set up. For the most part, there weren't prices on anything yet. Koi pond is being installed out front by one of the local koi specialists, so that'll be cool.
Still looking for some big hermits. :)
Edit: Edit: Also have now visited Premier Aquarium.

We have some "Kings Crown" hermits that are quarter sized now, but will grown to a few inches.

Premier has been set up for a few months, they used to be "Marine Fish and Reef" and had a different location so the store is still improving. They also told me they were going to be adjusting prices (down) and then lowering the discount. They had a pretty impressive member discount for livestock before. I'm not sure exactly where they are in this process.
