My air tube going to my skimmer pump has been clogging up with calcium deposits and not allowing air to reach the skimmer. Anyway to prevent or at least slow down the build up?? Twice in a month I've had to unclog it.

Which skimmer? Most air tubes are big enough not to clog

It might be salt but it's really hard. Either way it's clogging the airline and was wonderin a solution if there is ine. Not sure on the type of skimmer.

There shouldnt be anything in there. It only pulls air.

I know that's y I'm confused.

Take some RODI and heat it in microwave and let the pump suck that through the air line once a month and that should keep it clear.
