I am installing a sump to my overflow. Don't know if some sealers, poxy or glue are harmful or work best.

So connecting PVC and making it water tight with the sump. Also for plugging pre drilled holes that won't be used. Any recommendations?

Thanks again
Stephen

Like others said PVC cement would work best. Probably the red can, it works with ABS, PVC and CPVC

Bulkheads and plugs.

You can also use small patch pieces and use silicone (glass) or Weld On (acrylic), but then you can't use those holes as easily and neatly in the future.

If you use bulkheads and threaded plugs, make sure you use teflon tape on the threads. PVC threaded fittings don't seal well on there own.
