My wife decided to surprise me and started looking into a trip to Atlantis resort in Nassau.
Thought I would check around see if anybody been there, did some diving and what’s the general impression.
I see on their website that they do offer diving excursion that is ran by an outside dive shop. Anybody been there?
Looking for recommendation if to use their dive shop or look for something else. Most likely I’ll only have one day for diving so I want to get the max out of it.

Sounds great! I always wanted to go to Atlantis - I hear the aquarium is amazing.

i will go to the atlantis as soon as my sis is aloud to travel.

I heard mixed reviews from friends that have stayed at Atlantis. Seems like the more expensive rooms and suites aren't worth it.

check out stuarts cove. its probably one of the most famous dive companies in the carribean. Its where i got certified. As far as diving goes, its nice in some areas, not so nice in others. if i remember there are some really nice wreck dives as well.

I am going there next summer and can't wait! Hopefully I will get certified to dive before I go so I can check these places out...

I've been to Atlantis a few times and the hotel is really nice as are the casinos.....the aqurium is amazing and so are the water slides ( i love those things).....

As for the diving, I am not certified to scuba, but I did used to do a lot of free diving back in the day and have been to many places in the Bahamas....Nassau has some great reefs and some not so great as Nishant said.....unfortunately, I dont remeber the names of any of them

Your best bet is too definitley talk to a local dive shop and tell them what you want to see....they'll give you some good suggestions and tell you how to get there.....the hotel dive trips are nice but you can find much better deals with the locals and probably better reefs.......

u can also talk to the people at lfs and they now alot or someone at the docks. and i wish i could scuba but i am underaged so i can only snorkle but i will be practicing breath holds so i can go below.
