I just wanted to start off by thanking everyone that made it out to the BBQ last week... we had an awesome time and alot of people showed up! I can say for myself that I had a great time and met some really amazing people! :)

Ok,. I havent even looked at where this meeting is. I know that it will be up in town and tuesday I will be working up untill a few hours before the meeting. Trouble is usally I have a couple of hours to kill untill the meeting (I live in Douglasville and ,. well the drive is not worth going home of course). And honestly I don't get out much,. I don't really like the traffic and people,. and all that jazz. I would love to come to a meeting,. I really enjoyed the last one and only one I was at(met a few reefer heads and that was cool). What I didnt enjoy was sitting there for an hour and a half waiting on people to show up wondering if I should order some food or what not.

So anywho,. will anybody be there in that area that would like to catch dinner early?.. Or have a few drinks or what not a couple of hours or so earlier then the meeting and stay for the meeting?

Since you'll be joining in person, its usually a longer wait for your card. We have to process the paperwork, manually add you to the database, etc. If you sign up thru paypal, its all automatic and can usually get your card the following month.
In your case I would expect your card to be in the October batch...

I checked your profile again and I'm seeing a join date now of August 1st. Your card will be in next months batch.

Just an FYI, you really don't need your card. Just keep a paper copy of your paypal receipt until you get your card in the mail...works all the same. I even showed them an electronic copy of my receipt on my treo phone and that worked at PL Alpharetta.
