THis is a great read on types of filtration! http://www.wetwebmedia.com/marine/setup/filtration/marineFiltr.htm WetWebMedia is a great source ot answer your questions! I learn something everytime I read them! GOODOLEBOYZ250 07-17-2007, 10:08 AM i got a 10 gallon aquarium with only about 8 pounds of live rock about 20 pounds of live sand 2 clownfish ,xenia, torch coral, zoos, 320 micro jet, 5-15 whisper pump, pc 48 watt light flyingarmy 07-17-2007, 10:15 AM For a 10GAL just a HO filter with carbon/filter cartridges would be fine. One thing with a small nano tnak is water changes are more important than anything. I would do at least 2GAL a week, making sure the new water is at the same temp as your tank. Small systems leave little room for changes in temp/PH/etc. Good luck!
