i have moved tanks and now have a 150w MH instead of a 70w MH...i have some sps in the old smaller tank and they r doing well...i want to make sure the par is about the same wherever i place them in the new tank...does anyone have a cheap meter or one they might let me rent for day or 2? i am in the metro atlanta area and come pick it up, etc

Par Meter is the correct term. They are aka Quantum Sensors and Quantum Meters, but Par Meter is more widely used, I believe. Most hobbyists use a meter by a company called Apogee.
