I'm a little in posting for this week. Been a busy with putting the store together and buying livestocks and drygoods for the store.

I got lots of fish available. I ordered lots more gobies. I still plenty of cleaning crew. Lots of australian corals that came in. I got lots of orange hammer, purple hammer, green hammer and frogspawns. Many frags of acan. colonies of acans. Orange cynarina. Elegance coral. Nice torches. Acanthophyllia etc.
I'm starting to bring LE corals from the house to the store. Will be available in large quantities very soon.
stop by and see us.
Here are some samples of the corals that I just got in.

Anybody else want to split this acan colony? Rit quoted me $300 today at the store. I have at least one other person interested, couple of more and we can frag her up. I can't not express just how incredibly beautiful this thing is, hands down my favorite acan coral! I bought another small frag of a slightly different but still stunning acan today and would be willing to share if everything works out with this. Any takers????

The last one. It's very similar to #7 (the smaller frag I bought). It has maybe 40+ heads and is begging to be fragged. :D

I'm not sure per head price but I figured about $10-$15 should have it in your tank. I saw stars when I looked at it so I'm not sure how many nuggets were there. It shor is purdy...

Edit: I would go in for 1/4 of the colony...
Sweet, that should do it. Between Rob, myself, Mike, PFCDietz, and you we can bring it home! Rit and Jamie will probably frag it for us and let it heal...? Right guys?:yay:

That's the idea. More like this are comming to Atlanta.
I still have lots of nice stuff left. Wish my lighting are up to par. Could really show colors on many of the coral that I just got in.
Orange hammer got sold! Wasn't around the store long. :)

Although I sold the orange hammer, I still have the florescent green hammer at the house. I couldn't get the picture taken therefore I didn't take the piece to the store. I was planning to make it available next week. Plus my lighting should be up to par by the end of next week. It'll do these corals better justice with proper lighting. I could make it available now if anyone interested.
I have a bright red, green, orange and purple brain in my private collection. This is not the one in my avatar. It's almost as nice as the one in my avatar. It could be available to the right interest party.

Hey, were you in rits store on saturday around 230 talking about trying to frag this piece up? As soon as we left my buddy (cbj25, ended up buying the red anemone) said he would have probably pulled the trigger to split it if there would have been a third party. Good luck man, you seemed like you have been looking for this one for a while.

Randy, the acan in question is $365.00. The supplier called it ultra if it means anything. It's about 2-1/2 times the size of the rainbow that you just picked up.
I do have another rainbow acan at the store. It's a little larger than the one you just picked up. Same price. $300.00

I have this colorful and collectable brain. This brain is my personal collection. I like to sell it if possible. I had it in possession for several months now. It's my second favorite brain after the brain shown in my avatar. I'll take it to the store if anyone interested in seeing it. $225.00 firm.

Rit, hmm, Ultra, nope, means nothing, can't find it yet. Lots of frags called ultra...I'm tired of looking at rare acans, makes my eyes hurt trying to tell the difference and makes me depressed cause I can't afford what I want.
I'm thinking of "a-can-ery row" in my tank now though. John Steinbeck's cannery row people. Cheesy, yes, but it ain't easy being cheesy...

I can't seem to find the name of the green acan. I would imagine it will be sold quick though. I hope we could do another group buy...anyone?

My arm could be twisted for another group buy if we can get a few other interested.

We should look into a group buy for one of Ritt's really nice chalices. Maybe do a growout.

I changed my mind, I'm going to keep it all...muwhahaha!
Not sure yet, I have people still asking about it. I'll do the best I can and will make sure everybody's happy in order of dibbies...as far as $, it's still going to be around $15 per head or maybe a bit more. Chris and are about to start fragging a bunch of acans and this one is DEFIANTLY going to be the hardest. I just don't understand why the heads can't grow in an orderly fassion, darn funky shaped thing! I'm also setting up a pay-pal so ya'll can start sending me some $ for acan #1 and #2 hopefully.
Rit, thanks for helping our broke butts with these group buys, I know it won't last long because you'll be fragging soon. It sure is fun though!

So the whole club can chip in for a single frag, awesome! "You see that corner there, that's mine." Man, group buy or not, I can't afford that stuff. It is the price of plutonium! :D

You might be right. We can just stick with Acans

not trying to keep being picky, but I thought originally was going to be 300 bucks split up between 5 people- around 40 total heads.. which would be 8heads each for $60. I think we should stick with that,? the original agreement, and maybe have ever 1 else who wants a frag place dibs and get it when each of us frags of our piece..
Not trying to start anything, just was really excited with the original deal ;0)

Agreed. At this point it's too confusing and less cutting means less loss. There's another one of the same coral in Rit's shop now for the others who want some.

Err... It is what it is guys. I'm not making any money and in fact probably won't break even let alone receive anything for gas, time, nice little frag cups, dremel bits, etc. I said I was going to try to make everybody happy. That's all...I just got finished fragging and I have your 7-8 head frag. I'll be sending pm's to those whom claimed what first. If I can't deliver the rest, oh well, I tried but the coral wouldn't fit in the stretcher or multiplier. I would like to continue to do some group buys because it just makes sense. Agree? Also, as far as price goes it was an estimate and I said probably $10-$15 a head. I paid $35 for the 3 headed frag that I first bought. You're paying less than I. Wait, no, sorry, I'm very tired...bout the same-ish.
Smile my friends, this coral is gorgeous and a terrific price.
Thanks,
Randy

Thanks Randy & Rit! Great coral at a FANTASTIC PRICE! If those guys don't come through, let me know! That Acan can score 50 bucks a polyp!

Thanks for taking the time to frag this coral up Randy and I am all for some more group buys. They make complete sense because it allows a lot of people to have these harder to find more expensvice corals that other wise would not have them in their tank.

Recieved your pm but while I agree $15.00 is a fair price I was under the impression there was going to be a throw in together before purchase and then split. Group buys generally mean the group pays and splits and all take the loss equally if any....
Buying and fraggin to sell and break even is what I do all the time, had I know this is what was going to happened I would of never thrown interest in it.
Sorry for the confusion.

So, what do you want to do? If you re-read the thread, you'll see that there was never a definite plan not to mention the confusion between pm's. The bottom line is that we got a gorgeous coral! Also, one of the first buyers backed out...! So, I went down the line with first dibs even if was a single head. To me, one is just as important as many. Same with fishies, one little beta is just as important as a black tang, IMO.

Hey gangs. I feel bad to see that things aren't going as well after the purchased. LMK if I can do anything for you folks.
Should I do anything differently on the next colorful corals that I have available for sale?

I'm not sure per head price but I figured about $10-$15 should have it in your tank. I saw stars when I looked at it so I'm not sure how many nuggets were there. It shor is purdy...

Edit:
Sweet, that should do it. Between Rob, myself, Mike, PFCDietz, and you we can bring it home! Rit and Jamie will probably frag it for us and let it heal...? Right guys?:yay:

Imp in for a 1/4

Not trying to condemn and hope it didn't sound that way. All I was saying is I believed I was in for the group buy if anything or anyone fell through. Not for individual pieces. In the future I am and will always be interested in group buys for rare and hard to find coral, especially acans and zoas.

Rit you did nothing wrong, you sold a wonderful coral that we would all be proud to have in our tanks. My appologies to you sir for mucking up your thread... Further discussion on this topic on my part will be directed towards PM's..... Sorry Rit!
