This is Stan Waterman petting the nose of a 40 foot whale shark off the coast of Australia over 20 years ago.

I got it from a fellow diver at the Aquarium. He knew Stan very well as a kid, family are close friends per his email.

Anyway, this is too good not to share.....I hope he doesn't mind.

Great picture Todd, I got some great video of some reef squid last night that I'll share 1st of the week or so. But right now the fog in my head left over from the rum prevents me from attempting any thing as arduous as editing video. Just the fact that I'd us a word like arduous shows my sad shape. The boat will be leaving in an hour, getting back in the water will help.

Watch for the video next week.

Just got back from diving again this AM....

Not sure but I think that the Whale Shark is a too close for the camera to focus. LOL. :)
