As you can probably tell I love pictures. Here are some I got over the weekend. The boat is my neighbors 32' DCB (Daves Custom Boats) powerboat. It has two 727 HP Mercruser Engines with Merc 7 outdrives.
Top speed of 120mph. we couldn't keep up for long so this is all I could get.

I've only gone 98mph on it but no I was scared to death and if you think those little canopies do ANYTHING at that speed they DON'T. Sunglasses are a MUST or you cannot see anything. Try sticking your head out the window in the car doing 70 and try to keep your eyes open. Also they wear Helicopter Headphones to talk to eachother because it is so loud.

heck, at 35-40 mph, rain drops hurt when they hit your face, i'd hate to have some spray hit my face at 120... yikes!

Nah... my dogs tend to capture and/or kill one a year. I will just wait until they beat another one into submission.

What is the gas milage on a boat like that... Something like .5 miles a gallon?!? I hate the things, personally... If it was up to me, I would have them all banned from lanier because nothing needs to be going that fast on a public lake, but that is only because I have alomst been hit by two of them in the past three years!!!

Brandon, I am sure the gas mileage is somewhat like what it is on a hummer.. 3-4 GALLONS PER MILE

Well Almost ALL of them are JERKS! However there are a couple people like my neighbors that are great people and actually follow all the rules. They NEVER go fast when it is busy out and they never try to show off, they are a 65 year old couple. I love them! Oh According to Extreme Boat Magazine it gets about 0.8 MPG at 120mph. But that is why it has a 250 gallon tank.

I absolutely LOVE these things. But its a shame that a few hot shots ruine it for everyone else. It's funny Dianne my next door neighboor actually crys each year when they start it for the first time because it is so good to be out on the water again and because it started lol.

This is a Nor-Tech. The Top Dogs as they have been known as. It is a 36 foot Cat with Twin 850 EFI Engines. Unfortunately there are no Nor-Techs on Lanier yet. BUT!!! I have herd rumors of a new 42 foot with Tripple 1025's in it and being able to do 154mph:thumbs:
