Hello everyone. I am sellling my entire 75 g reef setup. Why am I selling? I have too many hobbies - the wife laid down the rules, either sell the CJ-7 or sell the tank. The decision was made and that is why I am posting my tank on this forum.

I've had the tank up and running for about 5 years. Here are the specifics:
- Purchased the tank new from The Reef Store in 2000
- 90+ pounds of live rock with some nice coraline algae
- Wood stand and wood canopy
- 4 65 watt power compacts; two 10,000K, two Actinic
- each pair of bulbs runs on CustomSeaLife ballasts
- Aqua Clear hang-on protein skimmer
- two Emperor 400 hang-on power filters
- glass can be drilled
- digital thermometer
- assortment of water additives
- 250 watt heater
- 4+ powerheads
- approximately 40lbs of live sand

- two pink branching hammer corals
- yellow star polyps
- assortment of zooanthids
- large meat coral
- green open brain coral
- 4in Maxima clam
- toadstool
- pulsing xenia
- pink gorgonian
- purple gorgonian
- bright green frogspawn
- sea mat
- green trumpet
- 3-4in purple tang
- pink skunk anemone fish
- royal gramma
- pajama cardinal
- coral beauty
- maroon clown

If you are looking to purchase a nice tank complete, I highly recommend you check this one out. I will say that I am battling some cyano bacteria right now. It is NOT consuming the entire tank. I have some on the sand bed that I am working to get rid of.

This tank has been well taken care of for years. It has always been a conversation piece for anyone that enters our house. I hate to sell it, but I've got to.I have spent thousands on this setup.

If you are serioulsly interested in this tank, email me at rshaffe@transunion.com or call me on my cell @ 770/598-6856. It can be yours as soon as this weekend for the right price. I live about a mile off of 316 in Dacula. I am approximately 20 minutes from Gwinnett Place Mall and 20 minutes from Mall of Georgia.

I have over $550 in live rock. The tank, stand and hood cost $1,200. Over $700 in corals. Then you still have the cost of the lights, fish, ballasts, sand, chemicals/additives, filters, protein skimmer, etc etc etc.

I would like $1,500 for everything, but I am willing to entertain any reasonable offer.

Thank you for your time!!

are you willing to part out the set up?

Not quite yet. I want to see if I can't sell the entire setup first. If I can't sell the tank in a coupe of weeks I'll start thinking about parting out specific items.

If you decide to part out, I would be very interested in your soft corals. Especially your Xenia/Zoo's. I am trying to set up a xenia only tank.

-Thank you

Sounds good.

If you live in the Atlanta area and are ever near 'The Fish Store and More' you should drop in and check out their small eclipse tank (maybe 5 gallons) . It's packed with pulsing xenia. If you are not careful you can sit there staring at the xenia pulse away for hours! They are mesmerizing!

I go there at least once a week. I love that tank. I am setting up a 2.5g version, only using black and white colors (Black sand, white xenia, dwarf zebra hermits, black or white everything).

Let me know if you would be interested in seeling some of the Xenia seperately.
