He was on one of the new episodes during shark week this year. Pretty cool. I can't remember though if it was him or another diver that grabbed the great white's snout and rolled it over

WOW that was cool!! I think I saw something like that on shark week as well and they were talking about theres a lot of nerve endings on a sharks nose so if you touch it, they kinda freeze up on you. Keep that in mind if anyone ever gets attacked by a shark. Punch the sucker in the nose and it'll make him go stupid. :confused2:

That's really neat. Has anyone found out exactly why sharks go catatonic when you rub their noses or turn them over? I know it's because of the nerve endings, but I haven't heard anyone discuss the anatomical or biological reasons behind it.

That was incredible... bravery, confidence, or stupidity; I don't posess enough of either to try that. Hanging out on the bottom, probably, but feeding out of hand? Not in this lifetime.
