I am fairly new to the saltwater tank hobby. I have a smallish tank, a 35 hex, that I want to make into a reef tank. It has been setup for about 4 months now. During that time, I have made substantial improvements, trying to get it ready to house corals. I have switched from CC to LS, added appropriate lighting, improved my water flow and have made my tank pretty stable. I have about 40 lbs of LS and about 40 lbs of LR, so I think I am about ready to start putting some corals in my tank (besides the 2 mushrooms that I currently have). I cannot make the Coral Swap on the 21st, so if someone has any frags that they would be willing to sell, that would be good newbie-type corals, then I would be extremely interested. I don't have a broad knowledge of corals to know what all is newbie-hardy and what is not. I am thinking that things like some colorful mushrooms, xenia, ricordia, star polyps, zoos... anything like that would be something I can start with. Anyone have any frags that they are willing to part with? (for a price, of course!)
Thanks,
Glen in Duluth/Suwanee
