I knew that if I said it, one day it would come back to haunt me. I got my first anemone about 6 months ago. Nice GBT. I placed it in the tank, in a really nice deep crevice in the rock. It never moved. Loved the spot. Ate like a champ and grew quite a bit in the 6 months.

Last night I was getting ready to clean glass and feed and I zero in on the space where he was "supposed" to be. Nope. He has decided to go walking. And, of course, as of this morning is in a place where he cannot be seen well or even fed.

Ah well, guess I just have to wait him out and hope he does not annilate too many corals. :shout:

I was in such a fog this morning that I didn't think of it. I will do it as soon as I get home. What can I use that would still allow flow but keep him out. I have a Koralia. My overflow opening is covered with a piece of egg crate, so I think that should be ok.

Any panty hose laying around? I've seen that used before.

I just use some pantyhose but be ready to change em out often, they get dirty quickly and will bog down your powerheads efficiency if left too long.

my GBTA has been walking for weeks, hasnt really hurt anything yet but i try to give em a clear path.

as far as hiding and not getting food or light - dont worry about it - when its ready it will come back out...id be more worried about the PH's

My went hiding into back where I couldn't reach. I waited for 2 weeks, and it got smaller and finally disintegrated. I regret that I waited that long.
