I bought this XXL Diamond Watchman Goby (orange spots) from Pure Reef a couple months ago for $55. He's done an incredible job cleaning my sandbed but i think my substrate is a bit too fine to keep him long term.

Selling him for $35 if I can catch him. Paypal or cash in hand holds the fish until you can pick it up. Let me know ASAP otherwise he's going to a LFS.

What does this guy eat? I have crushed corals as my sand bed and been having some red stuffs (may be red slime) growing in 1 spot. Do you think it will be ok for him?

Eats everything in and on the sand. Also eats frozen mysis. he cleared my sandbed of diatom and other algae in no time.

gnashty, one thing i will definitly say. These guys keep your sand bed clean, but they will also make a mess for awhile until everything is nice and clean. They like to spit everywhere at first. especially when digging their home

Fine by me, I have a couple clowns that have been doing the job and had triggers in the past. I'm up for the challange

Especially when digging their home
I may be getting rid of mine(golden head goby) for this very reason..

I have a bluespot, 3 ladder gliders, triggers, scooter blenny, mandarin, 2 sand sleeping wrasses, and more. It's not that bad for me.

Once he got his home the way he wanted it, it just went about his business of cleaning the bed.....gathering all snail shells and stacking them next to his house. easy shell cleanup. :)

As long as you don't have a ton of coral/zoas and such all over the sandbed, no big deal.

My Leopard and Coris wrasses follow him around all day picking at the stuff he sifts, very entertaining.

Oz....if you can catch him....and you think he'd be ok in a 93 cube....I'll take him. I'm tired of watching this....lol.

lol - he's very tame so I don't think catching him will be a problem. I just don't want to try until I know someone's coming to get 'em. :) I dont want to put him in my frag tank until I know he'll be picked up within 24 hours or so.

And he eats frozen foods, pellets, whatever so he'd be fine in that tank.

Ok...tell you what, I'm expecting some money on Friday and if it comes in, him and that purple piece in your frag tank will be coming home with me!

Sounds good. I have a few new frags and not from my big hands this time. I think a fish hit a delicate SPS I have in the middle of the tank and knocked off 2 2" frags of a pretty coral. Same with some small ORA Birdsnest frags last week. Lemme know Jeff.
