how would you mount my led diy light over my frag tank?

the sink for the leds is 15 x 7.5

Thin braided cables....2 forming a "Y" on each side an suspend it....

I used a curtain rod from lowes. You dont see it with the canopy closed. I have two power brite bars for shimmer.

ok. so maybe build like a glorified bird feeder holder to go over the tank?

interesting idea, but not using a canopy :)

have someone make a metal frame that will sit on top of your frag tank (think 3D box)...


run your electrical down a square tube column on the back of the frame.

ask phi79. he showed me something interested, using a 1/4 inch electrical wire tubing and a bending bar. it's very east and works great. after you bend just mount it to your tank frame with U connectors.
