Got this over the weekend, and thought i'd share the photo with y'all...I'd never seen one with blue in it. The picture doesn't even show it off very well...it's almost purple in person.

I went to a frag swap in Miamisburg, Ohio put on by the WORC(west ohio reef club), and won a $280 gift cert. to be used at a sponser store from a progressive raffle. So I got the starfish ($20) and lots of other stuff too.

From what I was told by the shop owner if was a fromia starfish...and he was holding it in a frag tank. From the research i've done it needs an established aquarium and feeds off of microorganisms and film algae that is invisible to the naked eye.

I might have to wait a little while in that case. :unsure: Thank you!
