I have a couple of Hagen Glo t5 lights and was wondering if I should make a splash guard for them? I dont have them over my spare grow out tank yet but was wondering if I should get a piece of acrylic or glass and fabricate some type of splash guard for them?

It isn't necessary, but it will ease maintenance. It's easier to clean lenses than reflectors, and unless you have the lenses, the reflectors will get dirty.
