I've been using the Hydor ekimixo (sp) for 7 years now. Still on the original batteries; never let's me down.

Another is the Rena feeder ($60 I think). Very good unit also.

Dave, It looks like this one., I've been using this same feeder for years and you know how much traveling I do and how big my fish are. I have a couple of them and for the price you can go wrong.

I've been running that one for a couple of years without problems. I like the option of the 1 minute delay for a second feeding. I use pellet food so I had to restrict the opening slightly since I do the delay. Why are you not liking it?

That eheim is a great feeder, got a few of them. Use them as regular daily feeders on a few tanks, for weeks on end. Probably a good idea to replace battery every few months too. Only bad thing about them I can think of is the sliding hatch can be a bit too lose. I tape the hatch in position to keep it from shifting.

Haha so do i. they also add water too. So heck, I am covered. though i would be ever happier not to have to have them top off everyday... so hopefully an ATO will come my way... never liked auto fish feeders... heard to many bad stories
