OK, so yea I'm an Apple geek, but wasn't sold on the iPad. I mean, its just a big iPod Touch right?

Then I found myself in the Apple store playing with one. And while it is still a big iPod Touch I find myself really wanting one haha.

BUT, should I wait on 2.0 to come out in a year or so or purchase now?

Who has one? What do you like / not like.

OH and please don't use this to spread hate on Apple haha.

I have the 32G 3G model. Bought it the day it came out. Primarily for reading books and periodicals on line and access to internet since work network is so restrictive. Have no way of telling if you should wait. All I can say is the iPad is amazing. Fast, reliable, amazing graphics and as with most Apple products built for the consumer. I have no issues with connections for either 3G or WiFi. Battery life lives up to the claim. Get one!

+1 great little toys bought mine the day they came out take it with me every were the functions are almost exactly like my iPhone

I have an iPad nano. It's called an iPhone. Only mine can make telephone calls...sometimes.

I have an Ipad. I wish it uses Adobe Flash, because there is this site that my 2 yrs old loves to get on (starfall.com). The wireless range is kind of limited. Other than that, I love it. It feels like a large iphone in which I also use.

I love mine....since I have a work Iphone I can access my work email as well.

thats kinda the way i feel too.. although.. i would prolly just ebay the gen 1 n buy the gen 2. they will prolly be the same price with new features... much like the ipod gens
