So this is my tank so far at one week old. 24g Aquapod with a 150w MH lamp. The only content beyond the water consists of 25lbs or so of LR and 20lbs of sand (plus a cup or so from FlyingArmy!).

I haven't spent much time on the aquascaping yet. I've got 4 larger pieces of rock and a couple of smaller pieces for looks. One of the larger rocks has a nice little cave so I tried to make that the center of the tank.

Next step is the clean up crew after it cycles.

I did, but I have a pc fan cooling over the sponge...I can keep it at about 79.5 degrees.

Some updated pics. Waving hand from Brandon and polyps from Maroon16.

I have a hammer as well but haven't done any new pics lately. Also some really pretty yellow polyps and a green striped mushroom from Maroon that need pics.

Due to a rather aggressive hermit, I'm down a few snails. Hermit is now banished to the sump. I bought a turbo for some mass glass cleaning...he's doing a good job.
And if he doesn't keep it up, he's going to my favorite French restaurant (http://www.atmospherebistro.com/index)!

Some more pics. It's a bit cluttered, I'll going to try and make things look better this weekend.

Just some pics of some zoas that have been coloring up a bit since I got the a few months ago. Some sort of PE but not sure which. First picture is under 150w MH (14k), the second is no lights with a flash.

My new clam. He's a little unhappy in this pic because I just cleaned the glass next to him...really amazing when he's opened all the way.

This guys used to have nice green eyes...but I think the shade of the xenia caused it to fade a bit. But it's grown two new eyes so it's relatively happy.

Mystery Zoas. Kind of a bad pic, the centers are purple with a green mouth.

Your tank looks great Loren and I think the xenia is an asset not a problem.

Unfortunately, the xenia is creating some shade. I like the movement though.

It's been interesting to see the battle between the pom pom and the elongota. Suffice to say, the pom pom won...the elongota has been relegated to a small section on the back of the tank.

Looks good I like the red palys. I have some similar ones. But they grow much smaller under my 250w MH, think i might try some down near the bottom.
