Do you need an anemone in order for them to lay eggs? What do you need for them to?

No. I think you should probably do a little more research on raising clownfish. The easy part is getting them to lay eggs. Good luck, though!

Yeah, im new to the breeding. I dont want it to lay eggs and not know what to do. Its a pair

Look for threads by Bobz and affectedhalf. They've discussed breeding a fair amount.

There is a reference thread in the beginning of this forum with some really good books if you want to find out more about what is involved with raising clowns. It is challenging but very rewarding. good luck!
