The time has come to upgrade the lighting on my 120 rimless. I am not ready to give up the shimmer that halides provide but definitely want some T5 bulbs for coloration and saturation. I have narrowed my choice down to the Giesemann Infiniti or Spectra 250w 48" units. Does anyone have and recommendations on which I should choose? I definitely like the fact that the Infiniti does not have any fans (noise) but do not want to overlook any potential advantages that a SE fixture/bulb could offer.

What are the advantages does SE have over DE or vice versa? Is it just the UV shield and bulb availability?
