When you see the picture of Pittsburg on the link, you see all them bridges? When you go into Pittsburg, everytime you make a turn onto another street you end up going out of town on a different bridge. lol I had some genealogy research to do in Pittsburg and needed to go to a few different places, but I kept going across bridges. I did eventually finish my research.

This is AWESOME news!!

It is the culmination of many hours of dedication of work by a large amount of our membership (and Kevin's great application!).

It really is a sign of how far our club has come. It will be a time for us to showcase Atlanta, and to have a chance to see worldclass speakers, a trade show from all the international manufacturers and distributors of all the most recent gear, etc. We will need all the membership to help, and have the best time possible!

After years of growing the club from a small group of dedicated hobbyists to over 400 people, learning with SWU1, SWU2, and SWU3, all the legal issues of becoming a charitible organization for SWU, giving back to the community in a variety of ways, and learning from the people that did MACNA XIII and will do MACNA XIX ---- it is time for

I agree Andy! Many of us including you have had this in our sights for years.

The MACNA Bid that was submitted was excellent and came from an excellent club! The MASNA BOD plans on using ours as a model example to show other clubs who wish to bid on future MACNAs.


So let's make this upcoming SWU conference a huge success and make the attendees want to shout for more! :clap: Then in 2008 we'll deliver it at MACNA XX! :D

I would be happy to help as long as it doesn't interfer with The World's Largest Truck Convoy on September 15th. I am a volunteer for this event.

I'm in. I was fairly involved when DFWMAS hosted in 2000 not that that helps much but I'll be happy to volunteer. I'll do anything as long as I can watch all the speakers. Other then that let me know how I can help.

are available. If it comes down to it, you can probably take the domains from him on prior use grounds. Unfortunately, the trademark on MACNA owned by MASNA was abandoned May 1, 2006, but you could probably renew.
