After some logistical nightmares and special help from our treasurer Simon - we are happy to announce the MARCH Meeting.
We have a very special guest for this who is also host of the popular "Pod Cast" show, Reefcast (http://www.reefcast.com/).

Our special guest has made sure that you know the difference between a Scypha sponge and sphaeromatid isopods on his Critter ID (http://www.melevsreef.com/id/index.html)pages that we reference so often here on our forums.

Our guest is also the first person many of us turn to when we want to jump into a DIY project and get some great ideas. If you do not already know, you might have guessed, our guest this month is none other then Marc Levenson from Melevsreef (http://www.melevsreef.com/index.html).

As of lately he has also started a new webproject that he will be presenting during our meeting - stay tuned, more to come soon!


We asked Marc to talk about his absolute specialty, Sump Design this year, noticing that many of our members and guests here have questions when upgrading.

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 9th, starting at 7:00pm.
The location for this month (as usual) will be at Steve Shindell's office.

And just the usual reminder - we are guests at this medical office complex, please absolutely NO SMOKING in or around the building!

From I-75 South-bound:
Take Exit #255, West Paces Ferry and Northside Parkway. Turn left off the exit ramp. You will pass under I-75. Turn right at the first light onto Northside Parkway. Go to the second light, and turn right on Howell Mill Road. Go up the hill, and turn left on the first street, Downwood Circle. Go straight on Downwood Circle into the parking deck (all the way down the road). The building will be on your left.

I've been an ARC member for 3 years or so. Never been to a single meeting, not even the yearly Frag swap. I am going to be at this meeting come Hell or High Water! Already put in for the day off just to be sure I don't get called on a trouble late in the day and be forced to miss it..!! Perfect Timing, I need a sump Design for my 60 Cube Build that's coming up.. THANKS BOD, and everyone envolved!

LOL! I was kind of "stalker-ish" with him when I first set up my tank. Bless his heart, he answered every email and I even called and talked to him on the phone once. I don't think he publishes his number anymore. (I hope it wasn't because of me.:D). He's a good sport, for sure!

For people new to the club this is a great meeting to attend.

If you request a name badge, Please make sure you pick it up. I talk with Tamara after every meeting and there is ALWAYS tons of them that were requested but not collected. She takes her own time to make these for members and its rather rude not to get it after it was requested. Im not pointing fingers or anything like that. I do understand that things come up at the last minute and people cant make it to the meeting.
