He was the only fish in the tank when I bought it. I think that boosted his ego a little...He was fine with the clowns for a few weeks. Then I noticed it fighting with my clowns a lot(mainly the female). The female clown started looking really slow and scared all the time...she just stayed in this one corner and didn't really come out. Plus its fins were getting shredded.

So it took me a while to catch him, but I have the pseudo in quarantine right now..The clowns look 100% happier.

Should I keep him in QT for a while, put him back, then see if he isn't so aggressive? Or should I just go ahead and sell/trade him?

Bi-colors are notorious for being mean and aggressive. I got a free open brain because owner had a bi-color picking at it. It was easier to catch the brain.

I never realized they were aggressive....Oh yeah, mean little buggers. I've heard if you add them last to a tank and they are much smaller than the rest of the fish, that aggression levels can be curbed.

I'd get rid of him. Like Corigan mentioned I've seen people use a number of methods to get them to behave but even then there's always the chance. I had one that was fine with it's tankmates for a good while but one day he/she started terrorizing everyone. Not worth the potential problems IMHO.
