View Full Version : sorry for wine; it's not full bodied.......
mysterybox 02-19-2010, 8:51 PM as last years Photo of the Month Coordinator and Google Group owner, as instructed my Raj & somebody, I uploaded all the contest pics to "The Gallery". This gives ARC all the photos, cool, eh?
Well, since I handed the baton over to Joe, and I stepped down after my year long commitment, I cannot upload any pics in the gallery since I am personally over the limit. This is not cool! Thanks!
Ralph
Dakota9 02-19-2010, 9:08 PM Exactly how much of that less than full bodied wine have you had?
Not enough.... he still cares about uploading pics on Friday night.
Dakota9 02-19-2010, 9:25 PM Perhaps his wine was made of Bitter Grapes
mysterybox 02-19-2010, 9:57 PM No bitter grapes here! Lol! Very happy! However, I would like to upload a pic, and drink wine at the same time!
The Barbera D'Asti is a very nice, very nice. Lol.
mysterybox 02-19-2010, 9:58 PM Not enough.... he still cares about uploading pics on Friday night.
How true.
mysterybox 02-19-2010, 10:05 PM Not a big deal, btw.
Dakota9 02-19-2010, 10:13 PM Yeah, we can tell by the fact you started a thread regarding the matter
twocute2b4u 02-19-2010, 10:43 PM Drink more, you'll feel better in no time :-)
Working on it.
Oh, wait. You weren't talking to me huh? My bad.... *gulp*
AndyMan 02-20-2010, 12:13 AM OK, I personally don't use the upload server space on here, how much does ARC allocate and how much do you think you'd need? (I've got a colo'd server with more than enough bandwidth to support at least a few members)
mysterybox 02-20-2010, 7:35 AM to clarify, I can upload photos in general, just not on the gallery.
I know you love wine, so hear is a jewel of a wine. The problem is I do not know if it is any good, it could be a good bottle of vinegar. My son brought it home one night and gave it to my wife. He had helped someone move and they gave him a few bottles of wine as a thank you. We have never told him how much the wine could sell for. When my daughter graduates we might just open this baby up. By the way, it is a magnum.
Dakota9 02-20-2010, 2:06 PM That wine is from the year I was born......
Wow, I'm old!
mysterybox 02-20-2010, 9:20 PM Although I can't promise you anything, a blended Bordeaux should last a long time depending upon how you cared for it. laying on side & temperature being most important. Most wines expire after a number of years; not yours. you can sell it for about $250.00 to $300.00 bucks, but you would need to go through a purveyor. It's worth about $400.00 to $600.00..........................very, very nice!
Oh yeah it is a great wine. But I am sure the owner did not know what they had. Probably did not take care of it.
Website Dave 02-20-2010, 10:09 PM I've got a bottle of Manichevitz... is that worth anything?
mysterybox 02-20-2010, 10:12 PM I've got a bottle of Manichevitz... is that worth anything?
yup! 2 advil.
or you can drink it during passover! lol!
Website Dave 02-20-2010, 10:13 PM LOL!
Why is this wine different from every other wine?
Dakota9 02-20-2010, 10:18 PM I wonder if any members are wine makers.....
I have a wine (sugar) refractometer I'm trying to give away....
mysterybox 02-20-2010, 10:55 PM LOL!
Why is this wine different from every other wine?
it's KOSHER!.............and it sucks!
LilRobb 02-20-2010, 11:13 PM Dak,
That works also great for the pre-stage for "home made" vodka to determine how much longer the fermentation needs to continue.
I use the old school float device...
Website Dave 02-20-2010, 11:43 PM The best chef I ever worked with (not a whole lot of them that I worked with) was Jewish, and two of his favorite ingredients were shrimp and bacon!

That's because he was also human. How can you not satisfy someone with those flavors? (vegans respectively excluded)
Dakota9 02-21-2010, 7:41 AM Well if anyone needs a very nice sugar refractometer, LMK
It's free, and very nice!
mysterybox 07-31-2010, 11:14 PM deja vu............
