If you joined ARC in December or January, your membership card is on the way. I just put 83 cards out in the mail.

If you joined on February 1st or later, your card will be ordered at the end of the month. These cards will be available at the March meeting.

My apologies for the delay. Due to changing hands and personal illness, I wasn't able to order the cards at the beginning of January. I'm new and learning the ropes for this volunteer position.

We only print cards once a month. So whether you join on January 2nd or 27th, your card will be ordered the same time. The cards usually arrive in time for the monthly meeting. Cards not picked up at the meeting are mailed out a few days after.

If your card does not arrive, there's two possibilities:


You've moved and need to update your address. In this case, the card will be returned to me. I'll PM you for a correct address.
It was lost in the mail. You will need to let me know if your card doesn't arrive.

You can use your Paypal receipts or hand-written receipts given at meetings as proof of membership. The sponsors will accept receipts.

I am working on tracking down the remaining missing cards plus a few cards that were returned 2 or 3 times.

Again, I'm sorry for the delays in the cards.

If we already have one there is no need to recieve another for another year of membership correct?

Keith, looking at mine here, says it expired December 2009. Don't know how hardcore some stores are about it, but they may not take an expired card.

Yeah, unless you are an honorary or lifetime member, your card expires every year. However, I can tell you that both of your cards are in the mail. :)

Not really sure. I'm so still learning. :) The bylaws say this:

Honorary membership may be bestowed upon those whom the society wishes to recognize for outstanding achievement in/or outstanding services to the society. Honorary members may not hold office or vote. Honorary membership is considered perpetual but will be reviewed on an annual basis.

Honestly I don't worry about it that much. They all know me at the stores I shop at. Which is sad because I live 2 hours from the closest one...
