In it's prime I think my tank was one of the nicer nano's around...

Day One - 3-4-08

A few months after the shot on 6-5-08 the tank cracked and I haven't been pleased with it since honestly.

I'm trying to break down the current cube and set up the new system, so hopefully I'll get it back up and I'll actually take care and groom the new system...

Here's what is coming next...

Wow Steve, you weren't kidding when you said it was nice back in the day. That anemone is absolutely GORGEOUS. Gotta love the anemone crab too :)
Can't wait for the new systems to be up and going.
I love the zoas in the last picture of zoas you posted. What kind are they??

Probably the same ones that were in the sand today, just under a much bluer bulb.

Looks great and a nice camera too.

If I can't sell my cube I will drill it and plumb it the same way you have this one. How is that working out. Corals look happy.

Really?? Crazy how it can change the appearance so drastically

Well corals aren't living in the tank anymore. Kelsey can attribute to that. It looks like absolute ****... Calc dropped below 100 because of the 2 clams that I added and it crashed shortly thereafter. All the corals and clams are still alive and thriving in friends tanks. I didn't like the noise the overflow created so what I would suggest is to make an overflow box and put it around it with a mini durso inside of the overflow to reduce noise.

Thanks for the heads up! I was wondering about that situation. The new set up look to have an awesome amount of light ready to blast.

Not sure your clams will ever let go of the bottom of the tank now that they have a CA reactor.

Steve

It surely does... 250 watts over each... looking to get great PAR at the bottom of them. I could probably grow corals in the sump with those things.

Steve

Well Mike, I'll just have to get a better one then... I'm gonna do some work on them tomorrow and try to get the drains ran and maybe run and pick up the overflows...
