so today i moved some rock around making it look more open. and i had to move some corals that didnt attach to the rock yet and came out this quarter sized brittle/serpent starfish... but they were odd looking. like in stead of 5 arms there were 7 arms. whats up with that? are they bad starfish?

just curious as to what i should do about them.

also, my acans seem to have shrunk but cant figure that problem either. i did notice my water got a lil cold so i adjusted that but i think my thermometer is crapping out on me. anyone kno of a good digital one?

There are some like THIS, but if it looks more like a brittle or serpant I say it may have had an injury or deformation to cause the extra legs to grow
