anyone know anything about this skimmer?....havent heard much about it or seen it very often...

Ehhh they are kind of like Coralifes, OK for the money. Skimmers are very "you get what you pay for". If you want to get a budget skimmer, make sure you get one WAY over rated for your tank.

The Current one isn't bad - all budget skimmers are just really iffy towards changes in waterlevel.
As long as you can keep that stable (within like 1/4") even a cheap skimmer will do the job - in the long run the old credo is true: "buy cheap, buy twice"

I used one on my nano setup for about a year and it worked fine for those tanks. It actually did a pretty good job of skimming and it fit nicely in to the 10G sump I was using. I bought it because of the small size and it was the only one that would fit.

I had one but I could never get it tuned in. Plus the adjustment knob was almost impossible to turn with your hand. So I used pliers, which eventually broke through the coating on the knob and water leaked out of it. From my experience I think they are a piece of s$#@. But that is just one man's opinion.

ok........trying not to ask so many questions.....but what about a euro-reef skimmer....trying to figure things out since im bidding on ebay for one

thers also a aquamedic T1000.....ahhhhhh IDK WHAT TO DO!!!!!!.....both about the same price

Euro-Reef. Although Euro-Reef won't touch any warranty issue if you bought it on eBay - just FYI... that is, assuming you're looking at a new one. Used - no warranty anyway.

I'd go Euro-Reef well before an Aquamedic.

And I've sold both. Much prefer EuroReef.

I got a pacific coast skimmer today. Any thoughts?

What model? some are just like Coralife Super skimmers but some are actually pretty decent.

Pacific coast ps100-p.....it's basically a temp....plus I haven't heard of them on here much and it was cheap....75$ new.....onna upgrade later but need something with a small enough FP to fit in my sump....getting a stand alone later on.....figured since I'm planning on upgrading later....can't pass up a new 75$ skimmer for the time being

Yep, a lot like the Coralife.

iv heard the fission is garbarage , im debating on the Aquaeruo-USA Nano 2 , revies say its good but you never know till you apply it to you system
