This morning, I moved my little tank raised Yellow Tail Black Blenny (aka Flame tail Blenny) that John Lauth (aka BaboonScience) raised, in to the 210 tank and introdiced it to my bigger original YTBB. It took some time for the little one to emerge from it's rock, but once it did, it immediatley went over to the larger one and started to display. The larger one returned the display. I watched for about 45 mins while the two swam side by side, doing the curled/shake thing. There was only one strike attack when the little one got too close the the larger ones preferred resting hole. They seem to be getting along so far and I am really hoping I can end up with a pair, especially since I lost my female Tail Spot.

I started a thread here in the breeders corner to hopefully have some thing to report on in the future.

Awww! That's exciting they are going after each other. Definitely post pics when you can!

well, I ended up removing the smaller YTBB from the 210. When I checked on them last night, the small one was cornered and had some tattered fins. I was afraid to leave it in the display tank with the large one while I was out of town this week. I moved the little one back in the juvenile clown/cardinal tank. It seemed ok when I was checking on it later in the night. After losing the Tail Spot Blenny, I did not want to lose another fish the same day! I'll try again when I am going to be around for awhile...
