Recently on the list of items my dog has chewed up or eaten: the $600 pair of diamond earings I gave my wife for Christmas.
Also on the list:
Leg of new coffee table
1 GB memory card
electric starter for gas grill

I would have to find those diamond earings if I were you! Even if she wont wear them ever again (because of where/how you find them) the store would take them back if you cleaned them off a little. ;)

Well, my roommate finally left and took her dog. He managed to eat all of the columns on my front porch, some railings and some of the siding as well. Talk about eating you out of house and home.

Oh yeah, she's going to find them (hopefully), but that's her job. (I told her to put them up last week.) Also last night our home computer crashed and won't reboot, and I woke up this morning to find the floor of the bathroom/laundry room covered in water (somehow the waste line from the RO unit came out of the drain.) I'm having a great morning

Man...what a time you are having! Just remember....it all comes out in the end! (Pun intended)

I have a 6'x10' kennel I'm not using. It fits in the garage and has a chain link panel on the top too (for climbers). Works great - I had a dane that decided to munch on the trim around the doors. We won't be having that anymore. I was going to put it up on craigslist. Let me know if you're interested...much more humane than a crate.

Thanks for the offer. He's being crated right now only so that he can't poop without us collecting it. Usually he spends his day in the backyard. Hopefully we'll find the earings today or tomorrow.

Good luck with all of that. My dogs are expensive too...
one is allergic to cat and dog dander, yes, she is allergic to herself and she has had cataract surgery on both eyes... **** expensive...

The other is allergic to something in our grass!!! can you believe that!

What we do for our animals always amazes me

My dog pooped diamonds this morning! They were together, with only very slight damage and no diamonds missing. Whew, I'm relieved!

Glad you got them back and I am sure the dog is happy to have them gone.

You do know that he has to eat one or more diamonds to produce a diamond correct? :)
