View Full Version : I won! I won! I won!
Hackman72 10-05-2009, 8:06 PM :yay::yay::yay::yay::yay:I won the 75 gallon tank from Marine Designs anniversary sale this weekend...tank, stand, hood, light, and glass tops.:yay::yay::yay::yay::yay:Thanks to Mike, Robin, Steven, Victor, and all the staff for the tank and for the awsome sale over the weekend...and more importantly for all the free advice. Rarely does a salesperson tell you, "I'd love to sell you that fish, but It's not a good match for your tank." It's not drilled so you can bet there's going to be a lot of DIY on this one. Anyone interested in seeing a build thread once I get started? :D
elFloyd 10-05-2009, 8:09 PM Cool!
weaglereefer 10-05-2009, 8:09 PM You really have to ask the last sentence?
And drilled is no big deal, just get a HOB overflow and you're good. Ran one for 8+ months with no troubles...Eshopps PF-800
And congrats, BTW!
coolsurf 10-05-2009, 8:18 PM Congratulations! You bet we would love to see a build thread!
bclark7169 10-05-2009, 8:25 PM we need a build thread and hob overflows work great
Hackman72 10-05-2009, 8:35 PM I think what I meant to say was...it's not drilled YET. The bottom is tempered so I'll have to go through the back. My 120 is drilled that way.
swfk44 10-05-2009, 9:19 PM i have been using a hob overflo for going on 8 yrs, i have a pump hooked to it for air removal and power failure purposes.

good luck with the build. what are you going to do with it? That would be a nice size for a FOWLR tank! Then you could finally get some of those nifty fish that EAT coral that most of us can't keep haha.

Thanks! I picked it up Monday. I got access to a truck and thought I'd better go ahead and get it. I'm kinda still on the fence as to exactly what/how I want to do this. Not sure yet if I'm gonna drill it and if I do...center, corner, off-center. I know whichever I decide, once it's done I'll change my mind.
