Does anyone on here run leds? If so, how do you like them. I heard they have many of the advantages of metal halides, but I heard also that they are quite pricy... does anyone know where I can get some.

LED lighting technology is kinda stopped right now due to the leader (PFO) patent infringement issues.

Don't rule them out yet. There are people out there like here http://www.reefbuilders.com/tag/led/ that still want them. But it won't be a fixture more or less long LED bulb strips.
