sad times indeed. i wake up to find that my cortez, humbug, and blue devil had died. what the heck? i emailed jenn right away. jenn and i had been emailing for a few days on another problem i have going on.
it wasnt minutes before she was on the phone. wow, im not use to that
from my LFS that i have been going to. jenn had me on the phone before she had her first cup of coffee, trying to help me find the cause.
eventually my day brought me out to jenn's shop.
what a visit. i got to meet the whole crew. nice bunch of folks.
where else can you talk fish, guitars, media, and politics all in the same visit? any way, what a fine bunch of folks jenn and the crew really are.
from the moment i walked into the store to the moment i left, i was treated like a good customer and a old friend. my first experience with jenn and company, top notch. not as close as a couple stores but seriously worth my drive. oh i got to meet a few of the customers as well, couple of them are from on here too. the store got pretty packed at one point but i never felt less important than the other customers, even though im sure i spent less.
jenn, scott, brian, and um........ oh man, i forgot his name, (sorry bud)
thank you for the help, conversation, and the quality experience.
kirsten and i will be visiting again very soon. next time, if its ok, we might bring bernie G beagle with us. :D

Tony :)

Thanks for the kind words, Rick. The pleasure was all ours. Bummer about the losses - hopefully we'll have you back on track very soon.

We like to create an environment where people can come in, talk about their tank stuff and whatever else, feel comfortable and "at home". If you came away with that feeling, then we did our jobs today :D

There's as much to be learned from speaking to fellow hobbyists, as there is from us, and it's great when we can get sort of an impromptu "round table" going. I always encourage people to chime in with their ideas/experiences, because often, that sort of dialog solves problems more quickly!

We really appreciate you coming out and I know we'll see you again soon!

well it sounds like today was a success for all, except for my poor lost fish and shrimp.

Hey you've done a lot to fix the issues with the tank you adopted Rick! Don't feel bad! Everyone, I mean EVERYONE, experiences losses at one point or another.

yes we have. i dont feel as bad about this ordeal because its not out of stupidity or lazyness. its a freak accident this time. still dont make me feel any better about the life lost.
now to tell on myself. i have a cichlid in a hospital tank right now.
this is my fault, and its out of stupidity on my part that hes there.
i wont go into it but i'll just say that the water LOOKED like you could drink it, but the undergravel filter ................. 'nuff said.
i look at it this way. i lost 4 friends in total today, in turn, i made 4 new ones. jenn's gang is awesome. if you havent been there you should go.

Haven't yet. Don't make my way out there often, but i need to make a trip out of it. I'm off Tuesday so maybe then!

But yeah, trust me....I just lost a Coris Wrasse who i instantly fell in love with and it really upset me. Don't really think I did anything wrong. As soon as I put him in he was eating and never once hid and then two days later he was gone.

As you have found out Jenn is a rare breed. Even when she has 100+ things going on she always has time for you and your problem or questions. She always makes you feel like your are the only one that matters and she and her staff will help you anyway they can. What is nice is it doesn't matter if you are an old established customer spending a bunch of money or new to the hobby just to ask questions. Jenn and the Imagine Ocean people treat you as the most important person in the world.

Keep up the great job Jenn!!!!!!!!!!!
