That is what I have been using and will probably continue. Thought someone might know where you could buy the bags and save a couple bucks.

I went to Petco and they were nice enough to give me a WHOLE BUNCH of them. Haha but then again I dont ever say they dont have good fish.....but Im sure if you go ask they will just give you some.

The key is to go in and say "may I please have some fish bags" and not "how much are the fish bags"

How much for a box? I was hoping to keep a few dozen of various sizes. I seem to needing them left and right just trading stuff in and out. Plus I am going to frag the hell out of some acros real soon.

I would think that zip-locs would be more than adequate and if you get the generic brand, I'm not sure you'll find anything cheaper, unless you go the Petsmart freebie way.

It's not like a box of 50 or 100 ziplocs cost more than $3 or so.

I can only order them in lots of 1000 in sizes 5x10, 6x12, 7x15, 8x15, 9x18, 10x18, 12x24, 14x24, 16x24. Prices start at $34.50 and go up. Not sure how much stuff your selling but 1000 bags is a lot of frags!

I found a place that carries 100 for $5, but shipping makes it not worth it. I may just head up to CostCo and see what a bulk set of ziplocs go for. Next time you are over I may pay you off for a 100 or so.

Sweet. BTW in a few weeks I need to hire you for an afternoon of redoing the sump area. I got a chiller, calcium reactor, giant skimmer, new sump and a few other things to mount/install. I find it easier with two people and Nancy is starting to put time limits on my aquarium time. I'll give you a call and we can work out the details.
