They look like this: http://www.sparklingfloorservice.com/melevsreef/pics/0105/clowns_n_eggs.jpg jt955 08-25-2009, 11:56 PM okay not clown eggs, not sure what they were then. Amici 08-25-2009, 11:58 PM Mine bite the heck out of me when they have eggs. Its how I can always tell. LDYBKR 08-26-2009, 12:09 AM Great pic Jeremy.... Crew 08-26-2009, 1:17 AM thats how I know when I have eggs in my tank.. my clowns start biting Rbredding 08-26-2009, 11:55 AM great pic jeremy.... x2... jmaneyapanda 08-26-2009, 12:26 PM Not my pic. Stolen. Guilty bobz 08-26-2009, 6:36 PM I was thinking great pic too! Still a great pic who ever took it. My Ocellaris eggs never look that orange. They are mostly gray/black when they lay them and they turn silvery when they are about to hatch out. Just wondering if those are percs in the picture and maybe the egg color is different? Amici 08-26-2009, 9:52 PM Ill try to find pics of my perc eggs. They look just like that when laid so it might be a breed characteristic Bob. Rbredding 08-26-2009, 10:41 PM what are the differences between ocellaris and percula clowns? BaboonScience 08-26-2009, 10:42 PM My Cinnamons never stop biting, they just draw blood when they have eggs. The rest are pretty docile. They just stand between my hand and the nest. Egg color is largely diet controlled. However, given that thought, my Ocelaris eggs are always dark, Maroons are sort of maroon (go figure), Clarks are kind of yellowish and the Cinnamon eggs are orange. They all have the same diet.
