I was able to get a decent pic of the chalice I picked up from Jenn. This thing glows under actinics!

Thanks Jenn! It's awesome!

Wow - sure looks better in your tank than ours!

I think I have one or two of those left. We kept a piece of the mother colony (which arrived damaged) and we're going to try to grow it out into another colony like my big green one. Take frags now and then but leave the main colony intact.

Thanks for posting that, Steve- yep it's a nice specimen :D

Thanks! I really need to get a piece of the green one too. I really wish could have reproduced how much it glows in the pic!

I have one or two of the green ones left. I think Tamara got one of the green ones yesterday.

I have more of the green one - HUGE mother colony (can be seen and drooled over in the shop) - I grew that from a frag the size of my thumbnail - in my 12g Aquapod for the most part. When it got too big we moved it to the prop system :D We don't take too many frags at a time from it, because we want to preserve the beauty of the mother colony, but Brian mentioned that he was pondering taking some more frags soon, from that one.

We don't sell them right away - we let them heal, settle and start growing before we offer them for sale.

How much are the green ones? I just have to find time to get it. :D

I am not at the shop right now but they aren't any more than $29.99. Maybe a bit less.

It's my own, "LE"... but I'm not greedy :D

Cool chalice. Roxanne doesn't need to see it. LOL She'll want one. Like always the stuff from Jenn is always first class.

You've seen them each time you've been in, Dave :)

That red one just looks better in Steve's tank. We don't have actinics on our system.

If I still have a red one left at the end of the day, I may have to either put it in the 12g on the counter, or bring one home ;)

Can I paypal you Jenn for a frag of that red one? It will be a day or two before I can make it up there.

Could you hold a green one for me for a few days? It may be Tuesday or Wednesday before I can get by.

First come, first served on those - there will be more down the road when the piece we kept grows out some more.

I'm not at the shop right now so I can't confirm how many from the current batch are left - I think there are one or two but I could be mistaken - we've been having a sale since Friday and have moved quite a few corals. I think we had 7 when we fragged them.

Saw both yesterday (and met Jenn for the first time in person) and almost took one of the reds home with me. Her prices on those chalices are very good. THey're not teeny little pieces either.

I have to be fair, Steve - I just told Ace that it's first come first served... since those are suddenly "popular"...

The greens are no problem - Brian is going to take more frags from the mother colony so I can probably hook several people up in a few weeks when they are healed and ready to go. I only have 1 or 2 left that have been growing out.

The reds - I had a smaller colony to start with, and we're growing out the remainder of the portion we left intact - chalices tend to grow pretty quickly but it's just a matter of time and patience now until it does grow out enough to harvest a few more frags.

I had 7 of 'em for several weeks.

I'll post when I get to work to confirm how many of each I have left.

I also have another green one from another colony - FHI Aquacultured - it's $29.99 and been here for a while too. Somebody was eyeballing it yesterday but didn't go for it.

No problem. I had asked you about that red chalice a couple weeks ago when I was in the store. They weren't healed yet and I haven't had a chance to make it back. Maybe I can free up a day this week.

Here's a pic I put on my website a couple of weeks ago of the reds:

Another - I posted this on 7/29 when we put them out for sale. There's some nice orange caps & green caps there too.

You can see a glimpse of my green mother colony in the background on the right.

No problem, I'll ask before coming to see if you have any greens left. It's all the camera Jenn. :D Here's an actinic only top down that kind of shows how much it glows.

Nice. I knew it had some contrast to it - my lighting without actinics clearly does not do it justice :D

Shall I expect a mob at 1:00?? LOL

First coral at reg price, second at 25% off, 3rd at 50% off (equal or lesser value on discounted corals).

Good way to score a deal or three :D

(Yes, that *was* a shameless plug)

I'll be there in an hour

Yup, I picked up a green one. The mother colony is so gorgeous. If you have a chance to get one of Jenn's chalices, do so. "LE Imagine Ocean Green chalices!" They're not little tiny pieces like you might find elsewhere. It is a substantial chunk of chalice. :) Seems like there were a couple greens left in the large propagation tank and a green ORA chalice frag.

Here's the green chalice I got yesterday. Sorry the pictures don't do justice for the color!

The green chalice is a beautiful specimen but be careful with its sweepers at night it is ruthless and they are long

I think there's one of each left that are ready to go. Brian took a couple more frags off the green but it will be a few weeks before they are ready.

any red ones left?

JennM

I believe there is one. I'll be there in an hour to double-check but I'm almost positive there is just one left.... til our colony grows out again (and that will be a while, leftover bit is still pretty small).

As of today, we have one Red Chalice left.

Brian fragged a few more of the greens, but they need some time to heal first, so it will be a few weeks for them.

We've got some nice Orange Caps and Green Caps too, among others.

I also have a FHI Green Chalice. Somewhat similar to mine, but from another colony.
