I have a pair of false percs that stay at one end of my 90g tank. Would I have any problems introducing a Clarkii or a pair of B&Ws into the tank?

Clarkii would be too aggressive to put with yours. Maybe some black and whites

As these fish are all tank raised, I have seen no signs of agression as of yet. I will not guarantee no agression, however, my personal opinion (gonna get flamed) is that you will PROBABLY be ok with either, depending on the disposition of YOUR clowns. If they stay to one corner, they do not sound like they would be agressive, but that could change when you add new fish.

What do you mean when you say a clarki with flags, whats a flag.

Good question. The "flags" would be the second white stripe extending to the top of the fin. They also have the third stripe extending into the tail making a "sword tail". Come to think of it, they look like the Allardi clowns, which are more expensive, and not very common. I will have to get further clarification on the breeding of these clowns, they are TR. I will have a definitive answer in the morning. I was told they were clarki's, with the flags.....but now that you mention it, they do look a lot like the allardi's....hmmm....I will get back to you on this when I hear from the source....

Got in touch with the breeder, he has traced the lineage, and is positive they are Clarki's, not Allard's, they are an "LE" clarki, for lack of a better term. Thanks for making me second guess myself!! I really enjoyed that!
