Ya, I know it is a dangerous thing and all but I got to thinking last night, after a member asked me questions about their tank and found out I was a real estate appraiser, then asked me questions about the home the tank was in. We all have different jobs or stuff that we know about, some of it is tank related (ie, woodworking) others of it is just general business stuff (ie, appraiser, web engineer, heating and air conditioning person). I would be willing to list what I do in a thread and offer ARC members advice on more then their tank, maybe even trade services for a frag! ;) I wonder if there are others that would be willing to do the same. So I did not know where to start this thread or even if it would be kosher but I thought I would throw the idea out there. Ok I am exhausted from thinkng of this idea this early in the morning, time to go relax while I look at my tank for an hour! :lol2:

Ummm, No thanks. I love what ya'll do but 8 years of AROTC, a promise of commission as an O-3 and a promise of a wonderful career as a Nuclear Engineer for the Navy were not enough for me to be able to join up! (Truth be told, I would have joined the Army over the Navy any day.) Nuclear Engineers sound great but are the guys stuck on the sums for up to 9 months at a time! First question I asked, How long can you stay do thenre. a) If need be up to a year underwater! Second question: If you are 600Ft below the water and something goes worng, where do you jump ship to?!? A) You don't, you emplode. Ok thanks! I will take my 99 ASVAB score and run! ;)

Speaking of subs... I had a friend who served on a sub for quite a while. The stories he has... peanut butter love and sheep love that ended in murder and an arrest. Good stuff!

See this is a sample hijack. Quality stuff over here.

Ok... ok... it is a good idea for those that have a profession that allows them to do this. I write code and unless the frag is REALLY nice I can't partake. However if say we had a dentist among us (cough... JustOneMoreTank... cough...), I would certainly come up with a frag or two to offset that bill.

If need a multibillion dollar merger or divestment or want to do some offshoring BPO work I'll work for frags:)

Seriously this is a good idea though. Especially for carpenters, electrictians, AC stuff, etc. Reefers always need those guys.

If there was only a social network for this... oh wait! There is! I'm working on one... the public beta should be available soon... I still need to chat with Chris and Tony to make sure I'm not stepping on anyone's toes... but I'm hoping you guys will be able to give me feedback once it's ready for debut.

I don't want to cut into anyones business but aside from failing to pay my annual maintenance fees and not retaking the test. I was CEDIA certified (Level I) and could have easily passed the Level II and Design tests had I taken them. I can also help design and install car stereo installations.

Hey I have big contacts in medical and dental billing as well. I used to work for InfoCure which at one point owned PracticeWorks and I still have lots of friends who work at PracticeWorks. I also do contract work for Oasys.
