I'm just teasing, I did my 4 years and I enjoyed it. Being out to sea can get a bit rough putting in 16-18 hour days, but the ports made it worth it. I got to visit alot of countries I never would have been able to see. I wish your son well and your gonna miss him, but he's a big boy now.

Yes, I will miss him but he is 23 and needs to really have a career.

Congrats. He's already a hero in my book for choosing to serve his country. I was supposed to go in after high school but they rescinded the offer the day I was going to basic training. They made me another offer but I refused it. Biggest mistake of my life and I still regret it to this day. You should be very proud. God Speed
