Just got this rock yesterday great price and really nice guy. Great coralline coverage and I found some nice hitchhikers. I just put them in a tank trying to make sure there wasn't any die off. I didn't have any water to bring with me when I picked them up so wet paper towels had to do. For just under 3 bucks a pound and I got these guys I got to go and look on the other rocks and see if there is any other growth on this rock I didn't see. I didn't notice the little group of shrooms on there until today. They are small but hey its an extra bonus.

Now am I the only one that loves to watch the feater dusters on my rock? I don't know I'm totally fascinated by them. Just regular feater duster worms. And I'm contemplating buying this rock that has a purple red and white feather duster on it. I'm just wondering if I've lost my mind. I think the rock has a gorgon on it I can't remember what the guy said.

You are SOOOO right. My first piece of live rock, I gave like 75 bucks for it and it weighed around nine pounds. I sat with my little magnifying glass for hours watching that rock. My family just knew I had truly lost it

I look back at that time and think "what a complete idiot I was"
I mean a good pair of magnifying glasses are much more comfortable and they allow me to watch for DAYS nonstop

Yep, I love tunicates and feather dusters!

They're the only reason that's been holding me back from buying my very favorite fish: a copperbanded butterfly. A copperbanded would make short order of them.
