jwevans79 07-01-2009, 8:25 PM Are the pictures in your link, the pics of the tank being sold? What are the dimensions of the tank? I am interested in the tank and stand and possibly the sump.
James
I am interested in the sump. What size (wxdxh) is it?

This picture was taken when I was starting the tank.
Chemically_Balanced 07-01-2009, 9:00 PM I am interested in the sump. What size (wxdxh) is it?
I bought it as a 50 high from glasscages. It's acrylic 36 x 18 x 17
Simon.Kruger 07-01-2009, 9:36 PM I'll take the lights.
LilRobb 07-01-2009, 9:59 PM What comes with the Closed Loop system?

LilRobb 07-01-2009, 10:04 PM Ehh,
I meant:
Closed loop run by a Dart pump $350.00
Is this the pump only?
Chemically_Balanced 07-01-2009, 10:05 PM Ehh,
I meant:
Closed loop run by a Dart pump $350.00

That's the stand tank and pump to run the CL for $350.00
LilRobb 07-01-2009, 10:08 PM It might be too late for me,
but isn't the tank and stand this:
120g CL and stand. $300.00
Switch to PM if you like.
vista 07-02-2009, 12:01 AM I bought it as a 50 high from glasscages. It's acrylic 36 x 18 x 17
I love it. but the width is too big for the space. thanks
Hellfire 07-02-2009, 12:05 AM Interested in Chiller. Brand, how long was it used, etc. Thanks!

Bought it from Skriz almost a year ago. It was sold to me as a Prime but I think it's a Custom Sealife.

that looks like it's without the pump, the extra 50 bucks is for the pump to run the closed loop... I believe.
Chemically_Balanced 07-02-2009, 9:20 AM CORRECT STEVE. I don't really want to sell the Dart but if someone want to keep the CL system I have going now with out having to maybe replumb then I'll throw it in for them for the extra 50. Otherwise I will keep the pump and make a water fall in the backyard :).
James S. 07-02-2009, 10:20 AM Ill buy the DART for $50 :D
Chemically_Balanced 07-02-2009, 10:32 AM Ill buy the DART for $50 :D
Don't think many would pass that up... But it's not for sale by itself. It's kinda the incentive to buy the tank. A closed loop 120 stand and dart pump to run the closed loop is a steal.
Steve 07-02-2009, 10:40 AM I don't blame you for not wanting to sell the Dart, it's a great pump. That set-up is a steal...
Chemically_Balanced 07-06-2009, 8:19 AM The lights are spoken for.
Looks like I'll be parting this thing out.
reply to this thread if you want something.
agentgreen 07-06-2009, 2:36 PM Any chance you have more pics of the tank? I am looking for a dual-overflow 120G but haven't considered closed-loop, so I'd like to see what I would be getting into :) Does a closed-loop system like that require a lot of maintenance? My plan is to build the 120G into a cabinet/bar that would lack a lot of rear access.
Also, how big is the skimmer section on that sump? The skimmer I want to purchase has a footprint of:
Diameter = 8" Height = 29"
Footprint = 9" x 21.25"
Thanks!
Chemically_Balanced 07-07-2009, 12:39 PM here are some pictures of when i was seeting it up somewhere in the group.
http://s43.photobucket.com/albums/e370/perrythompson/120%20Gallon%20Tank/
The skimmer section wouldn't be able to hold a footprint of 21.25 inches.
The clossed loop system is alway a debate but I loved it. You get an incredable amount of flow with out the addition of powerheads that take away from the look of the tank. I ended up putting some Tunzes in the tank they looked like crap but I was running an SPS tank and the more flow the better. it was certainly not needed though.
If you are interested let me know. I can also get you better dementions on the sump tonight.

agentgreen 07-07-2009, 1:33 PM I am definitely interested! I'm pretty sure the skimmer I'm looking at is 21.25 inches TALL and 9" wide, so the number I need is how wide/deep the skimmer section is.
That would be great if you can get the exact dimensions tonight.
Thanks!
Chemically_Balanced 07-07-2009, 1:42 PM Well consider this skimmer is in there now.

1/4HP Custom Sealife Chiller W/ Ranco Controler. -$250
This thing works great. It might be a little older but that doesn't matter. It's a refrigerator just like the one everyone has in their house. Does it ever stop working or need a recharge, not unless something is wrong with it and nothing is wrong with this one. It has a 10 degree pull down up to 180 and a 30 degree pull down up to 125 and is a steal at $250.00 with controller.
MAG12 pump $75.00
agentgreen 07-11-2009, 2:32 PM Picked up the 120G and sump today, Perry was great! Made it home without any issues, which I was glad of. :)
Thanks for everything again, and I'll keep you updated as I build it back up!
Hope you had a good time at the lake.

agentgreen 08-03-2009, 2:50 PM Man, I may have to buy that skimmer of ya, I mean I almost bought everything else and I *know* it will fit in the sump ;)
What feeder pump comes with it?

Feed pump is just a samll RIO something or other. I figure it was pushing about 150GPH through it. If I remember right it was was rated for 300gph but that's bull.
Chemically_Balanced 08-07-2009, 7:27 AM Skimmer is sold.. Chiller still available.
