Chris at fish scales has got my tank on track! I have had my tank filled with fish and corals for three years. Since meeting Chris my tank is the best it has ever been. He is very helpful and really knows his stuff. Thanks fishscales!

Has the interest of his customers in mind. He'll sell you what you want if you insist but will try to educate before you buy, if he doesn't know your knowledge or expertise. He will ask about your setup so he can be as helpful as he can be. I don't think I have had any other LFS ask me "what kind of set up do you have?" He uses both oldschool and new technology with a nice balance. He is very helpful and knowledgeable. If you're not affraid to ask Chris will help any way he can. If he doesn't know an answer he will tell you and find out, he will NOT just make something up that sounds good.
One of the best LFS's I've done business with, I do have a few favorites.

Exactly right, Dave. There are two sponsor stores that I think are outstanding, Chris' being one of them. Not because of the store, but because of the owner. Chris has shown over and over that he has the best interest of the livestock in mind, not the sound of the cash regtister ringing.
Matter of fact, the other great one is that way too.

Yes I am serious, 400watt mh mogul base includes trashed used bulbs. I also have several 250watt that I need to clear out as well. Not the prettiest things but nothing that a little paint wont fix.

Oh, boy. I'd be all over a couple of 250s if I wasn't worried about heat. I simply couldn't swing a chiller if I needed one, so I've been chicken to try MHs.
