About three weeks ago, Budsreef gave me a bunch of this Maroon Clown larva that hatched and he collected for me. The larva spent the night in a 5G bucket before I could get over to pick them up. We added some greenwater and rotifers to the bucket and Bud had an airstone in the bucket for circulation. I moved the larva to my house and divided them up in to two round goldfish bowls. I could not tell how many were in the bucket but it looked like about 50-60 at the time. It turns out there were a heck of a lot more! The larva are now 21 DPH and I have moved them to a 10G tank with a sponge filter and small HOB for filtration. Of course, this was at the same time I was trying to bring the seahorses and the Tailspot Blennies along, so I did not pay as much attention to these larva and did not take too many pictures as they were growing. I do have a series of pics for you all (I know how much you like them :D) but they are not the best.

The first couple are the day after I got the larva home and moved them to the bowls with greenwater and rotifers.

You can see the setup and how small the tiny larva are in the bowls.

It looks like there are probably about 75-100 fish now that they have passed meta. They are still REALLY tiny but now they look like maroon clowns!

Well, mostly lucky! If you try enough times sometimes things work out!

These photo's are amazing:)

Thanks Lisa! You are welcome to a couple in a few months if they make it for the tank project.

I think you should dump your 210, and just setup a big breeding center...lol. that seems to be where your passion is these days anyway. looking good as always. I love shopping at bob's!

Practically there! Although I need some place to keep the adults too. Unfortunatley, the breeding is going to come to a halt here shortly due to work/travel commitments. I hate it when work interferes with the things I really want to be doing!
