I have always said I would never get an Ipod cause of my distaste for Apple...I trade some paintball stuff yesterday and got an Ipod touch...All I can say is WOW!

Only beef is that it plays a very select types of video format..No worries there though..I found a converter

Im personally not a mac computer person, just cant control it right. but I think apple might be one of, if not the best run company.

I'm a huge fan of Apple products....not exactly how they price things, but that comes along with any large name company.

My big turn off with Apple is when I used to have a Mac there were no games for them really and the price is a turnoff also.. This Itouch is amazing though.

The only thing I dislike about the mp3 side is once you sync it to a computer/iTunes, that's the only computer you can add/delete music from.

Nifty interface, wife has burned through 3 in 5 years so they get no more of my cash. I totally agree with Lee on the pricing, but they have enough of a cult base that people a willing to bend over without lube to buy their products.

I built Apple retail stores for 3 years. You could not chase me down and stuff an i-anything in my pocket.
The most egotistical, maniacal, unrealistic management approach I have ever seen from any company.
I have video of Jobs' tirades towards his designers, architects, and entourage in general that would convince anyone to forgo having anything to do with computers or electronics if there was no other choice available.
I can't post it online as I don't have the legal team they have, but would be willing to have private screenings in my living room.
Suffice it to say everyone that has seen the videos was floored and embarrassed just watching.

the only problem I am having so far is when I "sync" up a new movie it loses about 6 or 7 cds worth of songs..then I have to redo it and maybe it works maybe not...

And the Get Album art is either a bad joke or Im doing something wrong

i used to dislike apple a lot then got an ipod and that changed quickly... but they are starting to tick me off again... pixels going out in iPod 60g and it is out of warranty... so not fair, waits till it is out of warranty, ugh... but they are good little music players :)

Well, you're no good to them unless you buy the new one. lol. Their products are targeted to people who go through electronics faster than toilet paper. Of course they never break because you only own it until the next version comes out.
Even Micro$oft gives their service packs away. But apple charges $100 and gives it a snazzy cat name and one or two must have new features.

edit: I will admit, apples software updates overall are much more fluid that way (rather than nightmare-ish like xp>vista) and even after a couple new versions you're still below the cost of a new Micro$oft product.

I know but h they did replace an old 30g version I had apparently cracked the screen for free, and the guy give me a 60g, the current one I have now... i would get a new one but I like to have a lot of memory and the touches don't have to much memory from what I recall...

edit, oh, you already tried that...

i have never had luck doing that, so i just go find the album artwork, down load it and apply it manually, though lately, iTunes has been doing that for me so no complaints yets... good luck :D

thats what I have been doing also..Just manually doing it... Only takes a few minutes

If you turn your sync to manual you wont loss any music or movie. You can also use anyones computer to get music. There's also a program where you can connect any ipod to your computer and take all there music and movie and save it into a folder for later use

Well I ballsed up and Jailbroke it with QuickPWN and added MIpatch to run IPA files..

Downloadinf Assassins creed now.. Give me some good things to add to a jail broke Ipod/Iphone

Actually you can link up to 3 or for computers to one account. I share my account with my pc down stairs and my two laptops and transfer music in between the 3.

They have reviews on just about every iphone game that's worth getting. And if there's not an official review, there's likely a forum post on it. It's run by the same guy who owns macrumors.com which is probably the largest mac forum on the net (think RC for mac).
