LilRobb and I went on sort of a mini-tank tour today... we hit Keen Reef, Einstein, and Fish Scales, then visited William1 and saw his new 180 (and killer stand) before swinging by and checking out Grim Reefer's setup.
The visit to FS was great... Atreyu917 was there, and Chris took lots of time to show me around (Robb had been before).
I bought something at each stop; at FS it was a crab and two heads of branching hammer.
I get home and unpack the loot, and at the end of placing stuff I couldn't find the hammer. Check the car (my cooler was too full to zip), no bag. PM Robb who drove up there... no bag. PM Chris... he didn't find it left at the store, but says he doesn't specifically remember bagging it and makes a generous offer to replace it if it isn't here.
Well, I feel like an idiot. I had it already in the tank! Closed up it didn't register what it was... combine that with a long day (no meal at all, either) and my brain was out of gas.
Chris showed his class by offering to replace something the loss of which would have been MY own fault (if, indeed it had been missing after all).
For those who believe in Karma, Chris has obviously made more deposits than withdrawals. I won't be up that often, due to the LONG drive, but you can be sure I'll be back any time I can.
