Official Announcement!! The other thread got cluttered anyway :)

SUNDAY, MAY 3rd- NEXT SUNDAY!!

Location as of now is Piedmont Park- they have water (but no lake), a small dog area, and lots of space. A couple benches too, if I remember right.

The location can be changed if most of the attendees are from a certain side of Atlanta- I'll be coming from WAY down here, so it won't matter much to me anyway.

I'll have water too, just in case.

Newbies are welcome and encouraged to come. This was my first 'event' and the way I got into meeting members.

Cost: FREE!!

My pack will consist of Myself, Dennis, Sadie and Danni (the boys are at the in-laws, and Pheobe is needing a few more manners before she can come with me)

I work the 3rd. Just saw that today :( Gotta go for 1.5 hours in the AM and go back around 3pm for the same time length, so I can't go unless it's really close to here....

They actually changed the layout of the dog sections. They're doing work back where it used to be, so they moved the two sections a little closer so that the bridge divides them. It's a smaller area, but there are some benefits.

They now have benches to sit on while your dogs run amok, you no longer have to go through the big dog area to get to the small dog area, there is shade under the bridge for both sections, the wood chips are all new, and the big dog area is flat and long, so fetch is easily accomplished.

Consider me there, so long as it's not raining.

Looks like scattered thundershowers for Sunday so far, will update as they change it-

Anybody else?

Thanks for the layout update, Danny- sounds like it's much better than it used to be.

I wish i could go, but I'm not going to.
I have to work sunday morning and then go back sunday afternoon to walk dogs again.
10 or 11 of which have parvo and/or kennel cough....so I don't think it's a good idea.
They're all from a rescue....it's really sad.

One last bump won't hurt. Piedmont Park at 10:30AM today. Look for a guy with a shaved head walking a slobbey mess of a massive dog.
